T
he Happy Wanderers
We are a group of friends and neighbors who love music and especially love accordion music.  Yes, we play polkas!  However, we also play old favorites and patriotic music.   We started our group when two new neighbors moved in next to an accordion  player and we realized we all needed to play great music together.  Now, we have added some dear friends and others from our small Mantua, Utah town.  We will play several patriotic songs, some oldies, and some of our favorites.  We hope you will enjoy our selection.

Cristina Edlund & Irv Nelson are a vocalist/piano duo who share a love for classic songs through the decades. Their performance will take you back in time to some of the best songs ever recorded, that will please the ear, touch the heart, and bring back fond memories. Cristina is one of the valley’s favorite vocal artists. She specializes in the smooth sound of the classic vocalists of the 40s, 50,s and 60s. When she was at USU, Cristina sang with the Jazz Orchestra, Jazz Voices, Chamber Singers, and Jazz Night at the Skyclub. Irv Nelson is a pianist, guitarist, bassist, and vocalist who also performs with Relic Acoustic Band and other groups.  Basic Pitches

Basic Pitches was a singing group that started at the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic. Devin and Max are both members of the Tabernacle choir at Temple Square. Christina, Ganae and Sarah all earned music degrees. They started singing together just for fun but it soon turned into weekly rehearsals and trying to find gigs.  This group is a modge-podge of solo-singers, musical theater actors/actresses, choir nerds, and just fantastic all-around musicians. Their set today will consist of a variety from jazz and pop to folk americana and musical theater.
