HARTSTRINGS
"HartStrings performs a repertoire of sacred, classical,
folk, and Broadway songs – anything from Orange Blossom Special to Lloyd
Weber’s Pie Jesu. The group consists of Brody and Corine Hart and their six
children. Brody was a member of the Tabernacle Choir at Temple Square and
Corine is a member of the Orchestra at Temple Square. Makenzie and Eliza, the
two oldest children, are currently studying violin performance at The Juilliard
School in Manhattan. They have soloed in concert with Kurt Bestor and Jenny
Oaks Baker. Makenzie made her debut performance in Carnegie Hall in 2023.
HartStrings has performed numerous times on Temple Square for the Families
Making Music concert series, Temple Square Concerts in the Park summer concert
series, and First Night Celebration. In 2015, HartStrings was asked to perform
a Christmas concert for the First Presidency of the Church of Jesus Christ of
Latter-day Saints. HartStrings performs throughout the state of Utah and has
performed together as far away as India, China, Thailand, Singapore, and
Brazil."
