          Kim Maycock                             Levente Medveczky

 Kimberly Roderick Maycock,“The Singing Nurse,” is a Registered Nurse with a passion for the performing arts. She has performed in venues across the world.  She studied vocal performance at Utah State University and nursing at Weber State University.  Levente Medveczky, “the Hungarian Organist,’’ was born and raised in Budapest. For 15 years he studied the organ, piano, and cello. He graduated with high honors in organ performance from the Bela Bartok Conservatory and currently is Assistant Organist at the Cathedral of the Madeleine in Salt Lake City. Following his LDS mission, Levente attended BYU, graduating with a Bachelor of Music degree this April.  He has been accepted to continue his music education at the prestigious Julliard School of Music in New York City starting this September.

Lyric Theater Performers
50th Anniversary Celebration

 Join talented performers from the 50th Anniversary 2017 Lyric season as they showcase this year's shows.  Last year's attendees chose their favorite shows over the years and the winners were: The Complete Works of William Shakespeare, Big River, Wait Until Dark and The Foreigner.  Each year's shows are superb!  A Cache Valley treasure!

Fry Street Quartet
USU is celebrating the inaugural year of the Fry Street Chamber Music Festival, from July 10-15.  The Fry Street Quartet, with guest clarinetist Nicholas Morrison, will give a short preview of the festival's concerts by performing works from the great classical masters - Mozart, Haydn, and Beethoven.

You won’t want to miss this act. Comprised of three veteran musicians, Relic Acoustic Band is easy on the ears with songs that everyone loves to hear from the golden era of acoustic rock music: Bob Dylan, Neil Young, The Beatles, James Taylor, Simon & Garfunkel, Crosby Stills Nash & Young, Kansas, America, John Denver, and much more. With three acoustic guitars and tight three part harmonies, Relic paints a delightful musical landscape, with a personable stage style.

      Salt Lake Letter Carrier Band


Salt Lake Letter Carrier Band was organized back in the 1920s to represent the Salt Lake Branch of National Letter Carries.  We do this by playing concerts throughout the State and the nation.  Last  August we played at the National Convention of Letter Carriers in Los Angeles, Calif.  Dedicated letter carriers and musicians. Always a delightful evening. 

THE CONCERT AND LECTURE SERIES IS SPONSORED BY  CACHE COMMUNITY CONNECTIONS AN INTERFAITH AND CIVIC ORGANIZATION, AND IS ALSO SPONSORED IN PART BY THE RAPZ TAX.  THE CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST OF LATTER-DAY SAINTS ALLOWS FREE USE OF THE HISTORIC LOGAN TABERNACLE, AS WELL AS PROVIDING FINANCIAL SUPPORT.
