WEEK EIGHT

MONDAY, JULY 17, 2017


Singers and instrumentalists will perform their favorite music in addition to previewing the upcoming UFOMT season which includes Henry the VIII,. Seussical, the Hunchback of Notre Dame, The Music Man, The Pirates of Penzance, Madama Butterfly and other performances.  Always unbelieveable voices and talent!  Not to be missed! TUESDAY, JULY 18, 2017
Michelle Broadbent

MICHELLE BROADBENT, a native of Cache Valley, holds music degrees from Utah State University, Brigham Young University, and is currently a doctoral candidate at Arizona State University.  was a regional finalist in the Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions, and has appeared in concerts worldwide. Join her on Tuesday, July 18th at noon for a program you won't want to miss.

Anna Davidson and Daughter
Flute and Cello 
Family Duo of mother and daughter will delight us with music played on flute and cello, a combination not usually heard together. Both talented musicians, it will be an hour of wonderful music.

Emily and Harry Heap
Soprano and Organ
Dr. Harold Heap holds several degrees in music. He is currently a church organist, conducts the Cache Messiah Chorus and the Christmas Food Bank Benefit Concert in the Logan Tabernacle, and has performed regularly in Tabernacle concerts.  

Emily Heap graduated Cum Laude from Utah State University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree and has performed for events and companies throughout the valley. Emily works as Assistant Technical Director and Resident Lighting Designer for the Cache Valley Center for the Arts. Karen Tew will accompany Emily on piano.

Selections for the concert will include: Blame It On My Youth, Come Away With Me, Travelin’ Soldier, and Four Preludes on Favorite Hymn Tunes



FRIDAY, JULY 21, 2017

Mark Gibbons
Country Singer
Mark Gibbons sings mostly Country Western music along with some of the best songs he grew up with.  Mark was raised on, lived on, worked on, owned and loved a family Dairy Farm. Working with five generations of family members they have produced and raised the most valuable commodity there is, "great kids". Last year Mark changed direction and now works as the State Executive Director of the Farm Service Agency, USDA.

THE CONCERT AND LECTURE SERIES IS SPONSORED BY  CACHE COMMUNITY CONNECTIONS AN INTERFAITH AND CIVIC ORGANIZATION, AND IS ALSO SPONSORED IN PART BY THE RAPZ TAX.  THE CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST OF LATTER-DAY SAINTS ALLOWS FREE USE OF THE HISTORIC LOGAN TABERNACLE, AS WELL AS PROVIDING FINANCIAL SUPPORT.
