Major Ranch Hands Band
The Major Family Ranch Hands Band hails from Avon, Utah where they raise horses, show calves, hay and kids, not necessarily in that order. The band's lineup is based upon the status of who's at home and who's gone. It currently includes dad - Dale, on guitar and vocals, son - Jake on bass and vocals, son - Chet on the cajon, mom - Dawna on vocals, and sometimes a few invited friends. The music and poetry that they perform reflects the rural and western lifestyle that they live and includes classic and original western music. Performances resemble a campfire setting with audience interaction, sing-a-longs, and a general, lighthearted good time. You're bound to hear a few old favorites, and probably make a few new favorites as well, it's western music at it's best.
