Summer Sounds

We are a group of Summer Citizens who reside at Pineview Apartments during the Summer.   We got together to entertain the residents of Pineview  during the COVID years when most venues in Logan were shut down and there were not many things to do.  Because of audience demand, we still perform today in the parking lot at Pineview on alternating Monday nights.   All of us have years of experience entertaining audiences with solos, duets, trios and musical theater.  Our group is made up of:  Joyce Bowlby – Sun City West, AZ ;  Norene Stafford – Tucson, AZ;   Linda Sheehan - Surprise, AZ and Mike Lindner-Sun City West, AZ.

Fry Street Chamber Students

Come hear outstanding young pianists and string players ages 14-18 perform works by Beethoven, Haydn, Mendelssohn, Dvorak, Mozart, and Brahms! Students are visiting from all over the country to attend the Fry Street Chamber Music Festival where they are receiving intensive training from the Fry Street Quartet and guest artists Dr. Cahill Smith and John T. Posadas. The Fry Street Chamber Music Festival seeks to create engaged and passionate chamber musicians and citizens through a uniquely personalized and intense environment of study. Private lessons, coaching sessions, and other activities give students the opportunity to learn lifelong skills of collaboration, trust, and communication, all while deepening their musical understanding. We can’t wait to share our music with you!

 Kurt & Michelle Olaveson Family
Kurt and Michelle grew up playing music together.  They studied music in college, though Kurt pursued a career in medicine and is a family physician in Cache Valley, and Michelle is a registered nurse. Now married with four little girls who all love to make music as well, the house is never quiet! Vivian, Elsie, and Liesel started playing the violin when they were four years old. With a mix of violins, vocals, and piano, they will be sharing some family favorites they love, as if giving a concert from their own home.
