Come get a preview of the 2022 season of the Utah Festival Opera and Musical Theatre.   This is their 30th season.  Upcoming shows include:  The Magic Flute; Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor DreamCoat; Carmen; She Loves Me;  Man of  La Mancha and The Tender Land. Each Monday star performers from the opera will  sing some of their favorite classics!  Always outstanding! Utah Festival Opera and Musical Theater UFOMT

John Harris-Organ

John Harris is from Huntsville, Utah.  He began taking music lessons at the age of nine.  At age twelve, he became an accompanist on the piano and organ for both church and school.  He graduated from Weber State University with both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Education with a minor in Music.  John is a member of the American Guild of Organists.  He has played at many Guild recitals.  He has recently earned the Service Playing and Colleague Certifications from the American Guild of Organists.  Today he will perform music from the British Isles.

Wildflower

Wildflower blends the old with the new, and classic with the contemporary in an upbeat vibe. Known for their sparkling vocals and rich arrangements, Wildflower’s music blends classic songs with originals and less-known gems. Their eclectic repertoire is both upbeat and introspective. Wildflower is based in Northern Utah, the members are: Lauren Sidwell, Michelle Olaveson, Camille Pederson, Catherine Idso, Marianne Sidwell and Betty Leishman.

Major Ranch Hands

The Major Family Ranch Hands Band is composed of Dale, (dad) with daughter Erin Stott from Logan, and son Jake a student at USU,and occasionally other family members. The family has been playing together in some form or another for about 15 years, when our oldest daughter Jenni learned to play the fiddle. Miho Everitt has been bringing together outstanding musicians for many years to the Tabernacle Concerts.  Each performer has extensive training and several have done solo concerts for the Series in organ, piano, trumpet and flute.   From advanced degrees not only in music, but law, financial counseling, soloing with symphonies, accompanying highly acclaimed vocal choirs and instrumental soloists, this talented group will present an extraordinary hour of music.  Not to be missed!  Miho Everitt
