Craig Mecham

Craig Mecham is an award-winning singer-songwriter. He has spent the past five decades playing and singing on stages across the UK and USA.  He has written well over eighty songs. Probably fifty of them are terrible. He promises not to play those.  Craig's songwriting features solo acoustic guitar as well as lighthearted, humorous tales of growing up. Generous doses of humor interspersed with tender emotions of love and loss make for an entertaining and uplifting hour.

Fry Street Quartet

The Fry Street Quartet is the String Quartet-in-Residence with the Caine College of the Arts at Utah State University.  This program will preview highlights from the upcoming Fry Street Chamber Music Festival, which will take place from July 16-20 at USU’s Russell/Wanlass Performance Hall.

Michelle Broadbent Hatch

A native of Cache Valley, Michelle holds music degrees from Utah State University, Brigham Young University, and is currently a doctoral candidate at Arizona State University. Michelle has been the recipient of numerous scholarships and awards, was a regional finalist in the Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions, and has appeared in concert world-wide.   She will warm your heart as she spans genres from Classical to Broadway.

Rockie Ricks & Friends

Although he holds a PhD in electrical engineering, after retiring, Rockie earned BA in Music at USU with emphasis on musical composition. This musical tribute is his capstone project which includes five original songs and two dramatic readings. The words are adapted from his Grandmother's poetry. Songs are sung by the most talented voices in Cache Valley. The tribute also features beautiful country and nostalgic imagery in a multimedia presentation.

Constance Jensen

Connie Jensen has a masters degree in Vocal Performance from the University of Utah and teaches Voice and Group Voice at Utah Valley University.  She has been a featured soloist with UVU's jazz and wind ensemble. She performs all over Utah, Idaho and California.  She has received numerous honors and awards for vocal teaching and performing.  Her shows are upbeat and fun!

THE CONCERT AND LECTURE SERIES IS SPONSORED BY  CACHE COMMUNITY CONNECTIONS AN INTERFAITH AND CIVIC ORGANIZATION, AND IS ALSO SPONSORED IN PART BY THE RAPZ TAX.  THE CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST OF LATTER-DAY SAINTS ALLOWS FREE USE OF THE HISTORIC LOGAN TABERNACLE, AS WELL AS PROVIDING FINANCIAL SUPPORT
