Cache Valley Food Pantry Benefit

The Food Pantry benefit concert will be featuring the Benefit Choir volunteer singers and Karla Axtell accompanying on the piano. There will be favorite songs from past concerts as well as songs from Handel's Messiah. We will also have community families and other community members as special guest speakers. Canned food items may be donated and most appreciated. We will have containers available for them. Come and support the Cache Valley Food Pantry and the volunteers who make this event happen!

Ringing In Christmas 2025

Combined talents of the Holt and Olaveson family Performers.

Both of these families have performed many times at the Tabernacle Concerts. We've asked them to combine their families and talents and bring a new dimension to this year's Christmas concert. Their combined talent will warm your hearts and leave you amazed at the talent they bring as they come together. They will be playing some Christmas favorites on piano, violin, cello, and singing. Some of the numbers will be combined, with some small groups. You'll leave commenting as all our audiences to, "These young people are amazing!"

The popular men's vocal group "Cache Valley Men's Chorus" is here to entertain you again with their powerful and beautifully blended men's voices. The group was originally founded in 1916 as the Imperial Glee Club. The group is comprised of local very talented and versatile singers and are accompanied by Merrilee Broadbent
on piano.

May 26 concert held on USU campus at the 

Daines Performance Hall. 

All other performances May 27 thru July 31 at the Logan Tabernacle.

On select Friday evenings there will be additional performances across Main Street from the Tabernacle at the Laub Plaza 

beginning at 6:30 PM. (Presented by Logan City.)

WELCOME TO THE 2025 LOGAN, UTAH TABERNACLE SUMMER NOON CONCERTS!

YES, THE TABERNACLE IS OPEN AND OUR SUMMER CONCERTS WILL BE HELD THERE! 

We have a great line-up for your entertainment enjoyment. Many of your favorites are back as well as some new performers AND a few outstanding inspirational speakers that you won't want to miss. 

NOTE: All concerts will be held at the Tabernacle at noon unless otherwise specified.

26 May Cache Wind Symphony - to be performed at noon at the USU Daines Performance Hall

 

The Cache Wind Symphony [CWS] is affiliated with the Utah State University [USU] Band Program as a co-curricular wind and percussion ensemble for community members and university students.  The Cache Wind Symphony exists in a dual role between the local community and the USU Band Program.  It operates as a subset of the Cache Community Band, a non-profit community organization that is comprised of three groups: 1) The Cache Wind Symphony, 2) The Cache Community Parade Band, and 3) The Cache Community Jazz Band.

The overall organization is directed and governed by a Board of Directors with independent bylaws.  As part of the USU Bands, the Cache Wind Symphony is a wind and percussion ensemble performing as a concert band and under the primary directorship of a board-appointed director, supervised, overseen, or co-directed by USU band faculty.

May 27 Rachel Worthen and Zack Grob

 

Rachel and Zack are a husband and wife duo who love performing together! Since graduating with voice degrees from Utah State University, they have performed in multiple musicals together across Northern Utah. They are excited to share some of their favorite show tunes with Cache Valley.

May 28 Keep Your Heart Young

 

The older we get the better we CAN get with good meds and good doctors! And a few other important things are to keep our minds active, exercise, and be socially active...and have a good sense of humor!

After a few words of wisdom from Carol Foht in her 70s (says she’s much too young to be that old!), Gwen Rendall in her 80s (a perfect example of the 80s being the new 60s!), and our guest speaker 94-year-old Jack Nixon of Cache Valley. Jack shows up for work everyday and continues to run a tight ship as he works at his many business enterprises. And One of our entertaining favorites, Bob Parson (he won’t tell us how old he is, but if he were a dog he’d be….) well, anyway, he’ll be our guest musician.

  

May 29 John Dalley

 

John Dalley has been singing starting with school, church and family functions. He taught himself to play guitar when he was 14. In high school, he was singing at clubs in Logan. 

He auditioned for and got an agent with National school assemblies and was booked in schools and clubs (and some prisons) across the nation. After 80,000 miles a year for 3 years of travel, he settled down and became a factory rep. Now retired he continues to sing at Deer Cliff Inn during the summer plus Franklin County fair, rodeo, 24th fireworks and assisted living performances. He’ll be performing Neil Diamond songs he used to sing on tour.

May 30 Josiah Cordes

 

A native of Lewiston, Utah, Josiah Cordes began playing the cello at the age of 12. He earned a Bachelor’s degree from Utah State University, a master’s from the University of Northern Colorado, and a doctorate from the University of Kansas, all in cello performance. He has a passion for bringing little-known music to audiences, whether unearthing undeservedly obscure repertoire from the distant past or premiering pieces that explore new aspects of his instrument.

Josiah currently resides in Logan where he directs a private cello studio and teaches for Mountain West String Academy.

June 2 Bright Star Preview

The show follows a talented young writer, Alice Murphy, as she uncovers long-buried secrets that change the course of her life. Packed with emotional highs and soaring melodies, Bright Star is a captivating tale of second chances and the transformative power of love and truth.

June 3 Kyra Moon

 

One of your favorite performers is back to entertain you and get you involved in the show! 

Kyra Moon is a native of Providence, Utah. She has been playing piano and composing music her whole life and loves to arrange music in different styles. She has become known for taking requests for piano improvisations from the audience, especially for Disney and Christmas songs. Her hymn arrangements have been performed by people across the country, and her music has also been performed on Temple Square. Kyra and her husband have four boys and one girl. 

June 4 Young Artist Cup

 

The Young Artist Cup musicians are high school students from the Cache Valley are who compete in a competition and are showcased at our noon concert. The categories are in vocal, piano, brass, wind, percussion and string.

June 5 Logan Music Academy

 

The Logan Music Academy is a premier music school renowned for its exceptional faculty and diverse range of music instruction. Offering lessons in voice, piano, guitar, ukulele, drums, violin, viola, and cello, the Academy provides students of all ages and skill levels with a comprehensive music education. Voted the Best Music school in Cache Valley for seven consecutive years, Logan Music Academy is committed to fostering talent and creativity. In addition to individual lessons, the Academy is home to the Songbirds Children's Choir, led by the talented Brianna Krause, which has captivated audiences across the valley with its beautiful performances.

June 6 Utah Peaks

 

Utah Peaks Players: A Suzuki Ensemble is a multi-age string group based in Utah County. Currently there are violinists, violists and cellists ranging in age from 8-17. This group was created for the purpose of enhancing performance skills and instilling a lifelong love of music in young musicians by building friendships and creating memories, through reimagining the universal Suzuki repertoire and more. The primary teachers are Lauri Driggs, Terry Fulwider, Erica Hardy and Nicole Macias. 

June 9 Cache Valley Men's Chorus

 

The Cache Valley Men's Chorus, formerly the Imperial Glee Club, was founded and has been performing in Cache Valley since 1916. Directed by Jerry Vanderdoes and accompanied by Merrilee Broadbent, this group is comprised of talented and versatile singers. Come enjoy the uniquely beautiful and powerful sound of a great men’s chorus. 

June 10 The Holt Family

 

“The Holt Family has enjoyed making music together for more than sixteen years with each child beginning the study of their instrument at around age three! Our performance will include folk, sacred, and classical music performed on the piano, violin, cello, and guitar.  We look forward to sharing the light and joy that music and children can bring!”

Jun 11 Jerica Jamison

 

Jarica Jamison is a singer/songwriter from Cache Valley, Utah. She loves music and the spirit it brings. Singing is her passion and embodies a lot of who she is through the Christian, country, and pop music she releases and performs with her band.
