Jake Harvath is a long distance
rider from Heber City, Utah. He is the founder of the Year of the Mustang
project. A six thousand mile horseback journey that took Harvath and his
mustangs from Utah to the Atlantic coast and back. Passing through twenty five
states in total. Jake’s mission is to show the usefulness and versatility of
mustangs as working horses and to educate the public about the need for
adoption.
A horse trainer and farrier
turned content creator. Jake found a voice by documenting his journey on
YouTube and social media. Giving the world a unique look at what it’s like to
cross America on the backs of wild horses. Today he continues to educate people
about wild horses and the American West. While also sharing the life lessons he
has learned through living on horseback.
