First Presbyterian Church’s Handbell Choir, directed by Cathy Ferrand Bullock, now in its 11th year, is becoming increasingly popular in Cache Valley and has a reputation for excellence in a variety of music– religious, patriotic, classical, or show tunes. Fifteen ringers comprise the interfaith group, enjoying the challenging teamwork of playing four octaves of bells. Anyone is welcome to join when vacancies occur. The bell choir plays several times a year during worship services at the Church, as well as for Christmas programs at the Logan Tabernacle, and for other organizations.
Below is a video fromYouTube made in March 2010 telling about the group.  It was done by Whitney Peterson and gives background information on this wonderful group of bell ringers and their most talented conductor.  Enjoy! and be sure to come to this FREE concert on Saturday, May 5th at 7pm.

The Grizzlies, Mustangs, Indians, Bobcats will join together in Song!

Four Cache Valley high school choirs will perform together Thursday, April 26, at 7:00 p.m. in the Logan Tabernacle

The top choirs from Logan, Mountain Crest, Preston and Sky View high schools will each present several numbers then join together under the direction of Dr. Cory Evans, Director of Choral Activities at Utah State University

After each choir has performed, the combined choirs will sing Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s beautiful Ave Verum Corpus. Outside Renovation will Soon Be Finished!

Last summer the parking area of the tabernacle was closed and a major renovation project ensued.  Trees were taken out, the parking lot was enlarged, all corners and middle areas were redesigned.  Recently I went to take a few pictures of some of the changes.  I do not miss the orange fencing that was surrounding the incomplete landscaping on the corners all winter long.  So today was a good day for enjoying the completion work that is going on and even taking a few Photos.
