Dr. Craig Jessop: LeRoy Robertson's Oratorio Preview
Dr. Craig Jessop will share with us a preview of the performance on July 31, 2019 at the Daines Concert Hall of LeRoy Robertson's Oratorio from the Book of Mormon. This work has been described as "a stirring work of grand design." It will be outstanding with the finest of musicians!

Miho Everitt and Friends
Allyson Bailey, Jo Hays, Lucas Hilton, Rachel Smith
Once again Miho Everitt will be presenting a combination of talented musicians including herself. Miho born in Japan, studied and performed there and continued on to a master's degree in Piano Performance. Allyson holds a degree in flute performance and has been performing for 30 years and is the business manager for the Caine College of the Arts. Jo Hays has Bachelor's degrees in music (flute) performance from USU and in mechanical engineering from Univ. of Memphis. Lucas, 16 years old is a budding violinist and will be a junior at SkyView High School this fall. Rachel, 16 a junior at Hillcrest High School has won numerous awards and performed with several symphonies. Many outstanding performers for us to enjoy!

Celeste Carruth
Violinist
Celeste completed bachelor’s degrees in violin performance and physics at the University of Michigan, and chose to pursue a career in physics research while continuing to study music in her free time. She has a Ph.D. in Physics from the University of California-Berkeley and is now a postdoctoral researcher at ETH Zürich, working to design a new physics experiment in the field of quantum information. In the past couple of years, she has performed in China, South Korea (including a special performance in the Demilitarized Zone), Italy, and Switzerland. Her program will feature compositions by Bach, Franck, Chausson, and others.
Jeff Karren, Organist
Jeff Karren will showcase the Logan Tabernacle organ, which has provided music to Cache Valley and its citizens for over 100 years. The program will include music to delight both organ aficionados and casual listeners, featuring classical favorites, organ masterworks, hymn preludes, and some other fun surprises.
THE CONCERT AND LECTURE SERIES IS SPONSORED BY CACHE COMMUNITY CONNECTIONS AN INTERFAITH AND CIVIC ORGANIZATION, AND IS ALSO SPONSORED IN PART BY THE RAPZ TAX. THE CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST OF LATTER-DAY SAINTS ALLOWS FREE USE OF THE HISTORIC LOGAN TABERNACLE, AS WELL AS PROVIDING FINANCIAL SUPPORT.
