Monday, June 3, 12 pm


Come enjoy professional opera performers as they give you an introduction into the 2019 season.  This year shows will include:  Mary Poppins, Newsies, West Side Story, the Marriage of Figaro, Bravo Caruso and Master Class.  Come early to get a good seat because the Tabernacle fills early on Mondays!


Tuesday, June 4, 12 pm

Mountain Crest/Ridgeline High Schools
Young Artists Cup Winners 2019
Outstanding winners from 2 two high schools in Cache Valley will blow you away with their musical talents.  The creme de la creme!!  You will hear vocal, piano, violin, alto sax and trombone music--and everything from classical to pop will be shared. This concert is not to be missed!


Wednesday, June 5, 12 pm
Piano vs. Banjo
Lezlee Monroe and Jordan Snow are an outstanding combination.  Lezlee is a talented composer and arranger.  Jordan is a natural talent that has performed with a number of celebrity performers including Earl Scruggs (composer of the Beverly Hillbillies song).  Dueling Guitars (piano/banjo) and Foggy Mountain Breakdown with be among some of the toe-tapping songs performed.


Thursday, June 6, 12 pm
Musicality (Women's Voices)
Join Musicality for an upbeat concert of classic oldies, love songs, patriotic numbers and everything in-between! Personal stories highlight the impact music has on our lives and gives a unique touch to this group's talented presentation. Violin, flute, tamborine and piano accompainment add to the fun and energy Musicality generates during their performances.

Christina & Irv
Vocal & Piano
Cristina Edlund and Irv Nelson are a vocalist/piano duo whose repertoire includes classic songs from across the decades. Cristina’s silky voice and Irv’s expressive accompaniment meld to create a delightful aural delicacy. You won’t want to miss this concert; each year it is one of the audience favorites of the summer series.

Rebecca McFaul (FryStreet Violinist)
Elzbieta Bilocka (Polish Pianist)

Polish pianist, Elzbieta Bilicka has recently arrived in Logan and will be joined by Fry Street Quartet violinist and professor Rebecca McFaul in recital.  The program includes Sergei Prokofiev’s sparkling Sonata in D Major, Op. 94a for violin and piano.  Ms. Bilicka will then take the stage alone for Beethoven's extraordinary Piano Sonata no. 32 in C Minor, Op. 111. The recital will close with a short, beautiful Nocturne composed by Lili Boulanger in 1911.  Outstanding musicians!

THE CONCERT AND LECTURE SERIES IS SPONSORED BY  CACHE COMMUNITY CONNECTIONS AN INTERFAITH AND CIVIC ORGANIZATION, AND IS ALSO SPONSORED IN PART BY THE RAPZ TAX.  THE CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST OF LATTER-DAY SAINTS ALLOWS FREE USE OF THE HISTORIC LOGAN TABERNACLE, AS WELL AS PROVIDING FINANCIAL SUPPORT.
