IOLITE DUO
Flute Duet & Piano


Jo Hays  has Bachelor's degrees in music (flute) performance and in mechanical engineering.  At USU, Jo played principal flute in the Symphony Orchestra and Wind Orchestra, and performed in the Caine Woodwind Quintet, Música Viva Chamber Ensemble, and the Flute Choir and has served a two-year term as President of the Utah Flute Association.She was a founding member of HiFalutin' Flute Choir.  

Allyson Bailey has been playing the flute for 27 years and is a graduate of Utah State University with a BM in Flute Performance and a Masters in Accounting. Currently, Ally works as a Business Manager in the  Caine College of the Arts. In the past Ally has played in HiFalutin' Flute Choir and currently plays with Cache Symphony Orchestra and the Quintessence Woodwind Quintet.

Miho Everitt  holds a bachelor's degree in piano performance and has done extensive accompanying for many instruments and voices. She has also worked towards a master's degree at the U of U.   She also was an accompanist for "Beethoven's 9th with a cast of 10,000.

Jessica Roderer, Piano

Bradley Ottesen, a performer of “warmly rich, opulent tone” (Washington Post) is the violist the internationally acclaimed Fry Street Quartet. He has earned degrees from Northwestern University and the New England Conservatory.   He is an assistant professor of music at Utah State and currently serves as president of the Utah Viola Society.  He has had extensive training and experience and currently also teaches privately. 

Jessica Roderer’s performances are “rich in emotion and dramatic passion”, The Deseret Morning News.  She recently graduated with her Master's and Doctorate of Musical Arts in piano performance from the University of Southern California. She earned her Bachelor's from Utah State University under the instruction of Gary Amano. She has performed with the Utah Symphony and currently works with Opera by Children in connection with Utah Festival Opera and Musical Theatre.

The Broadbent Family

 The Broadbents are  gifted musicians who share their talents with joy and enthusiasm. Merrilee is the arranger and artistic director of the group.  Richard will melt your heart with his rich baritone voice.  Michelle, a doctoral student at ASU and graduate of USU and BYU, (selected as BYU’s prestigious “Singer of the Year”) will thrill you with her gorgeous high notes and down-to- earth delivery. James, whose background includes everything from musical theater to opera,brings warmth and beauty to your favorite melodies. He and his talented wife, Annie, light up the stage with 
their love songs. Christopher, age 16, is just plain fun.  Filled with a variety of genres, this will be a program you won't want to miss!

Kim Roderick Maycock

Kimberly Roderick Maycock is a Registered Nurse with a passion for the performing arts. She studied Vocal Performance at Utah State University. Her performing credits include performances in venues throughout America and Europe. She currently works as Care Coordination Director for Health Group Management and resides in Ogden, Utah with her husband, Eric, and two beautiful sons. Levente Medveczky was born and raised in Budapest, Hungary where he was invited to play numerous concerts both in solo and orchestral events nationwide. He’s currently enrolled as an Organ Performance student at Brigham Young University. This year he has received his appointment as Assistant Organist at the Cathedral of the Madeleine.

THE CONCERT AND LECTURE SERIES IS SPONSORED BY  CACHE COMMUNITY CONNECTIONS AN INTERFAITH AND CIVIC ORGANIZATION, AND IS ALSO SPONSORED IN PART BY THE RAPZ TAX.  THE CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST OF LATTER-DAY SAINTS ALLOWS FREE USE OF THE HISTORIC LOGAN TABERNACLE, AS WELL AS PROVIDING FINANCIAL SUPPORT
