Patriot Day 2015:
Remembrance and Reflection
Friday, September 11th
 7:00 pm
Logan Tabernacle
All are Welcome   --  Free to the Public

This year marks the 14th anniversary of the tragedy of September 11, 2001 that changed us all forever.
Andreas Wesemann, Lt Col, USAF (ret) will be the keynote speaker and will discuss why it is vital that we all remember that day, reflect on those that lost their lives, and recommit ourselves to connecting with others in our own community so that we may build bridges between our different faiths, backgrounds and circle of friends.  The Cache Community Connections organization was founded after the events of 9-11 to help our community attain these goals.
Colonel Wesemann will also share his experiences as a Rescue Pilot to inspire us all to search for those that need our help, and rescue those that cannot help themselves.  Our local heroes ---  Police, Fire, Rescue, Civil Air Patrol and Military Veterans will be recognized (please attend in your dress uniform).  It will be an evening of music and powerful stories of rescue.

Andreas Wesemann is a powerful inspirational speaker, who speaks on a variety of subjects, from stirring patriotic performances to how to overcome your fears and achieve your dreams. He always includes his aviation experiences.  Andreas entertains, educates and edifies his audiences. He has authored articles in national magazines and newspapers, including an award winning article in FLY SAFETY magazine, as well as online publications.  He graduated from the U.S. Air Force Academy (1991), and completed a Master of Aeronautical Science from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.  Andreas is currently an Assistant Professor of Aviation at Utah State University.

Andreas “Baron” Wesemann retired from the United States Air Force after a long career, culminating serving in key senior military positions and as a distinguished instructor pilot in five different military aircraft. As a Deployed Combat Rescue Commander, he led the men and women under his command safely home in OPERATION ENDURING FREEDOM. Colonel Wesemann oversaw the rescue of 700 individuals as the Director of the Joint Personnel Recovery Center, and during relief operations for Hurricane Katrina led the rescue of 3,500 individuals stranded on rooftops in New Orleans. His travels have taken him to 49 countries and 49 states across the globe. Andreas overcame incredible odds to attend the U.S.A.F. Academy, receive his commission and earn his coveted pilot wings. He will inspire you from first solo to soaring in the Alps, and from freefall parachuting to supersonic flight.

As a motivational speaker, Andreas has spoken across the country and around the world. His audiences include 2,500 in Middlesex, New Jersey, for a Memorial Day tribute, the Utah Wing Civil Air Patrol Annual Awards banquet, numerous civic and service clubs, weeklong training conferences that he developed, and in Korea for Osan Air Base’s Junior ROTC Detachment. Andreas has served in the Speaker’s Bank of the Boy Scouts of America, on the Speaker’s Bureau for each base he was stationed at, received the Distinguished Toastmaster Award in Toastmasters International, and presented on stage for Gary Barnes’ Maximize Your Business Now! Bootcamp. Andreas’ Groundschool for Life workshop helps others to achieve their dreams, overcome their own doubts and fears to soar to new heights. Is it time to Lift your Life.
