Relic Acoustic Band
(Pops from 60’s & 70’s)

The RELIC Acoustic Band is a group of local musicians who perform easy listening, acoustic oldies.  These veteran musicians are Irv Nelson, Scott Olsen, and Steve Roberts.  Their sound is fresh and their performances are entertaining.  With three guitars and three voices, they paint a musical landscape with their intricate harmonies, perfect for dinner music, parties, reunions, weddings, and other.  Their song list includes arrangements of favorites from the great artists of the 1960s and 1970s --- songs that everyone remembers and loves from the “golden era” of popular music.

Scott Olsen is plays an assortment of different instruments, but in the Relic band he usually plays his Breedlove acoustic guitar.  He plays the harmonica and sings lead vocal on several songs.  Scott resides in Garland, Utah.

Steve Roberts is actually a rock and roll drummer.  In Relic band, he plays a beautiful Ibanez acoustic guitar... and occasionally beats on a Cajon drum box or plays bass. Steve is the baritone of our group. Steve lives in Providence, Utah and works designing bridges for JUB Engineers.

Irv Nelson is primarily a keyboard player, but in Relic he plays a Taylor acoustic guitar, a Hohner 12-string acoustic guitar, and a Breedlove acoustic bass guitar.  In addition he sings lead vocal on some songs. Irv currently resides in Smithfield.  His day job is teaching private piano, guitar, bass and vocal lessons in Logan.
