Utah Festival Opera and Musical Theatre

Only two more chances to hear Utah Festival Opera and Musical Theater Artists this summer at Noon Music!

Tuesday July 31st Noon 

       Trenton Chang, Piano Virtuoso


Trenton began piano lessons when he was almost 5 years old. Currently, he studies with Gary Amano 
and Brandon Lee.   He received the Mini Artist award in the USU Piano Festival at age 5 and continued on to win a lots of awards in the USU Piano festivals every year. In May 2010, he was invited to perform the 
entire Mozart concerto No.23, K. 488 in the Beverly Sorenson Young Artists Concert with Utah Chamber Artists. In March 2012, he appeared on NPRÕs From theTop. Last October, Trenton was the winner of the MTNA Utah State Competition. Trenton will be a freshman at Logan High School this fall.



Wednesday August 1st Noon

    The Red Trio   

     MLMS String Young Artists


Raymond Li (viola), Emma Cardon (cello), and David Kim (violin) make up the RED Trio. The three 13-year olds have been performing since autumn 2010 together as a group. 






Thursday August 2nd Noon

       Woodwind Ensembles 
The group, 3's Company,  has a quintet called Quintessence, Dichotomy Duo, Tihai Trio and Mio Trio.  The members are Ali Bailey, Kelli Richardson, Warren Barton, Brad Henrie, Candice Kempton, DeAnn Johnson and Dan Stowell.  Several combinations of instruments will share a spectrum of tonal colors, and an array of music from folk tunes to classics.

Friday August 3rd Noon 


The Old Lyric Repertory Company 

presents previews and vignettes from 
its three productions - 
Steel Magnolias, Private Lives, and Big River 
in repertory from 
June 14 through August 18.
