Sunday December 1st 6:30PM

 

ANNUAL LOGAN FOOD PANTRY BENEFIT 



Come and enjoy this great mix of talented musicians and help  support the Logan Food Pantry. Canned food item donations are encouraged!

Music for this event will be performed by: 

The Logan Food Pantry Benefit Choir, which is conducted by Dr. Harold Heep and John Ribera, both who have a long and impressive background in music conducting and voice. Also participating is Mary Beck, Director of the Westminster Bell Choir, and Karla Axtell on piano.

Mary Beck and the Bell Choir have been an integral part of top performances in the valley including the American Festival Chorus Christmas concerts. They are always a delight to hear and a great hit with the community.

Karla Axtell is well known in the valley for her outstanding performances on piano and organ. She is continues to accompany many different choirs and orchestras throughout Cache Valley, including the Cache Children's Choir, the American Festival Chorus, and Cache Valley Symphony Orchestra. 

The Cache Valley Interfaith Choir, directed by Randy Welbaum. After the events of 9/11 and during a time when the community needed help healing, an organization called Cache Community Connections was formed to promote unity, inclusiveness, and embrace diversity. Soon projects, programs, and performances were created that eventually led to an Interfaith Choir.

The CACHE VALLEY MEN'S CHORUS



  

The Cache Valley Men's Chorus, formerly the Imperial Glee Club, was founded and has been performing in Cache Valley since 1916. Directed by Jerry Vanderdoes and accompanied by Merrilee Broadbent, this group is comprised of talented and versatile singers. Come enjoy the uniquely beautiful and powerful sound of a great men’s chorus. 

Tuesday December 10th

REBECCA ANDERSON HARPIST



Rebecca Anderson has been playing the harp for 13 years. She graduated from USU in 2023 with a bachelors in harp performance and loves to do local gigs around Utah. Also performing with her will be Rosemary Palmer on viola and violin, Eve Anderson on violin and Patrice Densley will sing. Her music is truly a bit of heaven experience!

Wednesday December 11th 6:30PM

 ERICA CHEYENNE-PEART


Erica Cheyenne-Peart performs original country music as well as popular music among many genres. This past summer Erica performed for the first time at the Tabernacle Noon Concerts and became an instant favorite with the audience. 

She will be accompanied by friends (and great entertainers): Jay Davis, Chris Mortensen, Jaxon Davis and Zan Summers.

Thursday December 12th 6:30PM

MIHO EVERITT AND REBECCA LOPEZ


Accomplished pianist Miho Everitt will be accompanying Rebecca Lopez with a variety of Christmas and other songs.

Miho brings her warm personality and outstanding skill at piano performance, drawing in her audiences with a concert you won't forget. She is known for bringing together other outstanding musicians who have performed with her at many concerts including the popular Summer Noon Tabernacle Concerts.

Rebecca is a multi-genre singer, who has sung in multiple countries of the world and many states across the United States. She was born in Mexico and partly raised there. She is a wife to a wonderful man from Chile of South America, and together they have five children. 

Friday December 13TH 6:30PM

 CRAIG MECHAM

One of the valley's favorite musician Craig Mecham will perform a variety of songs. He will be accompanied by a few guest performers. 

A small group of young children will sing "Away in A Manger," both in English and a verse in Spanish. They are sure to be delightful!

Ending the program will be Holly Conger (CCID art teacher and area musician)  singing "Mary Did You Know".


Saturday and Sunday December 14 and 15 - 6:30PM




There are 40-45 musicians from the community in this performance. There are also about 85 singers in the choir. These are all community volunteer members. We look forward to a delightful evening with this special group. Audience participation is encouraged!
