Ringing In Christmas 2022
Logan High School Chamber orchestra became an official class in the school schedule in the fall of 2021 when the Philharmonic orchestra grew too large to fit into the orchestra room. Students audition for the elite orchestra and rehearse daily in the smaller chamber orchestra and in four different string quartets. Playing chamber music requires special skills, both musical and social, that differ from the skills required for playing solos or symphonic works.
Ringing 5 octaves of English handbells, the Westminster Bell Choir has shared decades of music with the Cache Valley community. Sponsored by the First Presbyterian Church, the bell choir is an ecumenical group, composed of ringers from various Christian faiths. Seeking to uplift, unite, and bring joy to the community through music is their purpose. They ring in church services and community events throughout the valley.
