                Holly Conger                    

Holly Conger has been playing music in Cache Valley for many years both solo and with her band Juniper Junction. She is the art teacher at CCID Charter School in Providence, Utah. She lives in Providence with her husband Ryan and their two daughters: Lydia and Violet.  She sings original songs and chart topper cover songs spanning over the past century.

Wildflower

Wildflower blends the old with the new, and classic with the contemporary in an upbeat vibe. Their sparking harmonies mix perfectly with guitar, fiddle, bass, keyboard, drums and even some banjo and ukulele here and there. Wildflower is based in northern Utah and performs throughout the region and beyond. Wildflower is: Lauren Sidwell, Kristen Day, Camille Pederson, Catherine Idso, Marianne Sidwell and Betty Leishman.

Sadie Mortensen & Friends

Sadie, a talented musician has been playing guitar, piano and singing for as long as she can remember.   She has developed a love of performing, and has played in the local band Mjölk and performed locally on her own. She is a recent graduate from Fast Forward high school. She loves creating and sharing her love of music with others.  Performing with her will be Kalle Danfors on guitar, Ella Bowen and Irv Nelson on keyboard.

"Here is Hope"

The MADRE-gals are a brand-new female vocal ensemble representing lifelong friends and sisters in Christ who find joy in bringing truth and light to the world through music. In today's tabernacle program entitled "Here is Hope" they will share classic hymns, folk songs, contemporary Christian hits, Broadway, classical, and original music all with a central theme of hope. Their individual musical backgrounds include musical theater, choirs, opera, touring bands, and studio recording. Their greatest accomplishments, however, come from being mothers to their (when combined) 30 children - hence the name "MADRE"-gals. :)

                                                        Relic Acoustic Band

Consisting of veteran musicians Steve Roberts, Scott Olsen, and Irv Nelson, Relic Acoustic Band is easy on the ears with excellent musicianship and songs that everyone loves from the golden era of acoustic rock music: Bob Dylan, Neil Young, The Beatles, James Taylor, Crosby Stills Nash & Young, John Denver, and many more. Each of the band members has a wealth stage experience, playing in countless bands over the last 50 years, and they have been playing together for nearly 20 years. With three acoustic guitars and tight three-part harmonies, they paint a delightful musical landscape. The performance is also entertaining, with a relaxed and personable stage style. Miho Everitt & Friends

Miho Everitt was born in Osaka, Japan. She holds a master's degree in piano performance and has done extensive performing and accompanying.   She is the busy mother of 5 children.  

Lucas Hilton recently graduated from Sky View high school and plans to study Aerospace Engineering at Utah State University this Fall.  In addition to the violin, he  plays the organ and piano. 

Music has always been a part of Mike and Jenni Whiteley's life together. Jenni grew up in Logan and has taught piano herself for over 20 years.  Mike played trumpet through high school and college and has performed in numerous orchestras. They recently moved back to Cache Valley.  

Marin Kimpton is a Trumpet Performance/Music Education Major at Utah State University and is pursuing a master's degree  in the future.  

Andrea Bailey has a master's degree in Piano Performance and is a private piano teacher as well as an accompanist. She is a mother to 4 children.

  Olaveson Family

Kurt and Michelle grew up playing music together.  They studied music in college, though Kurt pursued a career in medicine and is a family physician in Cache Valley, and Michelle is a registered nurse. Now married with four little girls who all love to make music as well, the house is never quiet! Vivian, Elsie, and Liesel started playing the violin when they were four years old. With a mix of violins, vocals, and piano, they will be sharing some family favorites they love, as if giving a concert from their own home.

                                         Vivace

Vivace is a children’s a violin performing group from Salt Lake City, Utah. Vivace began in 2017 and toured  China spring of 2019. Under the direction of Corine Hart, selections will include a broad range of numbers from Disney movie themes to fiddling and classical music. Audiences of all ages will enjoy this show through music that highlights violinist ages 12-18. Come enjoy the show!

Ellie Evans & Friends

Ellie began playing the violin at age 4. She was one of 12 state Sterling Scholar finalists in instrumental music this past year. She has recorded with the USU Chamber Singers on several of their acclaimed albums and has been featured on nationally-syndicated classical music programs around the country. She has soloed in Xian, China for a National Conference and with the Cache Symphony Orchestra as well as with the Ridgeline High School Orchestra. She will be attending Utah State University next fall as a Caine Scholar.

Hatch Academy of Magic & Music

Richard and Rosemary Hatch opened the Hatch Academy of Magic & Music in Logan's historic Thatcher-Young Mansion in January 2011. In their studios Richard teaches sleight-of-hand magic and Rosemary teaches violin and viola. With their son, pianist and visual artist Jonathan Hatch, they give occasional ensemble performances combining magic and music. Katie Lund and Hugues Herpin are seniors at Ridgeline High, Talia Winder is a senior at Green Canyon High. Accompanist Annika Lawrence is a senior in piano performance at USU.

The Major Family Ranch Hands Band is composed of Dale, (dad) with daughter Erin Stott from Logan, and son Jake a student at USU,and occasionally other family members. The family has been playing together in some form or another for about 15 years, when our oldest daughter Jenni learned to play the fiddle. The Band Down Yonder

The Band Down Yonder is a group of all-around great folks who have been playing together for six years.  They began as a collection of family, neighbors, co-workers, and friends. They feature old time mountain music. A lot of the songs are about trains, but they'll play any song they think is a catchy tune, and tint it with a little bluegrass.  Their music appeals to all ages!  Come and enjoy!

Craig Mecham

Craig Mecham is an award-winning singer-songwriter. He has spent the past five decades playing and singing on stages across the UK and USA.  He has written well over eighty songs. Probably fifty of them are terrible. He promises not to play those.  Craig's songwriting features solo acoustic guitar as well as lighthearted, humorous tales of growing up. Generous doses of humor interspersed with tender emotions of love and loss make for an entertaining and uplifting hour.

Fry Street Quartet

The Fry Street Quartet is the String Quartet-in-Residence with the Caine College of the Arts at Utah State University.  This program will preview highlights from the upcoming Fry Street Chamber Music Festival, which will take place from July 16-20 at USU’s Russell/Wanlass Performance Hall.

Michelle Broadbent Hatch

A native of Cache Valley, Michelle holds music degrees from Utah State University, Brigham Young University, and is currently a doctoral candidate at Arizona State University. Michelle has been the recipient of numerous scholarships and awards, was a regional finalist in the Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions, and has appeared in concert world-wide.   She will warm your heart as she spans genres from Classical to Broadway.

Rockie Ricks & Friends

Although he holds a PhD in electrical engineering, after retiring, Rockie earned BA in Music at USU with emphasis on musical composition. This musical tribute is his capstone project which includes five original songs and two dramatic readings. The words are adapted from his Grandmother's poetry. Songs are sung by the most talented voices in Cache Valley. The tribute also features beautiful country and nostalgic imagery in a multimedia presentation.

Connie Jensen has a masters degree in Vocal Performance from the University of Utah and teaches Voice and Group Voice at Utah Valley University.  She has been a featured soloist with UVU's jazz and wind ensemble. She performs all over Utah, Idaho and California.  She has received numerous honors and awards for vocal teaching and performing.  Her shows are upbeat and fun!

Darren Parry

Shoshone Elder

Darren Parry is the past Chairman of the Northwestern Band of the Shoshone Nation. Darren serves on the Board of Directors for the American West Heritage Center, the Utah State Museum Board, and serves on the Advisory Board of the Huntsman Cancer Institute. 

Darren attend the University of Utah and Weber State University and received his Bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education, with an emphasis in History. He also teaches classes on Native American History at Utah State University.   Darren has worked tirelessly to share the story of the Bear River Massacre as passed down through his ancestors. His great-great-great-grandfather Sagwitch Timbimboo was the chief of the tribe at the time and escaped as the horrific events unfolded.

                                            Jen Benson, Singer

Uplifting pop music with a touch of classical on vocals & piano with guest instrumentalists Kristen Day (violin), Kelin Gibbons (guitar) and Tasma Taylor (piano). Beginning on piano as a child, Jen soon began arranging songs for voice. Early experience included solo performance, musical theatre, and lead vocalist on keyboards in rock bands. After tending to her young family while performing in choral groups, she returns to her solo work, sliding into the plate 40 years from her musical beginnings!

                                                       Ben Alder, Organist

Ben Alder was born and raised in St. George, Utah. He took piano lessons at age 8 until moving on to the organ at age 14. He has played in LDS Tabernacles in St. George, Utah, Paris, Idaho, Brigham City, Utah and Logan, Utah. He was invited to play the 5 manual Salt Lake Tabernacle organ hosted by now deceased tabernacle organist, Robert Cundick. He is the Grandson of Dr. Douglas D and Mrs. Elaine Alder. He has a YouTube channel of over 10 videos. Some of them are from his Logan Tabernacle concerts.
